Description
“Attitude for Men has been recognised as Darwin’s premier menswear store since opening in 1993.”
Demolition, construction and fitout for the newly designed Attitude for Men store. The fitout of the existing building at 35 Knuckey Street in accordance with designs provided by Ashford Group Architects.
Completed works on this extensive fit out include but not limited to
• Demolition and construction of existing structure to create double height ceiling
• Installation of the two storey shopfront with floor to ceiling glass
• Fabrication and installation of shot fit out to achieve prestige finish
• 2 internal offices & Sewing office
Timeliness of the works was critical with the project as not only was the client bearing rental charges for two premises but also project was undertaken within the very congested and busy CBD. Strong existing relationships with local authorities assisted works to be completed within stipulated timeframes.
With works substantial works being conducted on the shop front, the timeliness and safety of the movement of pedestrians and vehicles was first and foremost. The management of footpaths, carparks and roads were all conducted successfully in accordance with the City of Darwin requirements.
Where possible all service provides, and material suppliers were local enterprise. With specialist planning, communication, management and supervision this project was successfully completed within time and budget.
