Asset Construction was successfully awarded the tender for the full design and construct refurbishment of Dollys Tavern, now known as Bills Bar & Grill. Working in collaboration with an architect, Asset brought the client’s vision to life by combining practical upgrades with high end aesthetic features to deliver a revitalised, modern hospitality space.

The project involved internal demolition of the tavern, including the kitchen, to allow for a new, contemporary layout. The scope of works included a full tavern and commercial kitchen fit-out, installation of a new grease trap, and an extension to the dining area to increase seating capacity. The existing male and female bathrooms were fully renovated, with the addition of a new accessible toilet.

The refurbishment included new mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic services throughout the venue. A standout feature of the space is the bar, designed with premium stainless steel elements and high-end finishes. The tavern showcases custom designed features such as a timber feature ceiling in the lounge area, enhancing the ambiance and overall visual appeal.

Additional features include a new wine room with glass walls and custom joinery, along with bespoke booth seating—both fabricated in-house by Asset. New flooring was installed throughout, resulting in a complete transformation of the venue into a fresh, functional and stylish hospitality destination.
