Scope of works
- Demolish existing building back to structural shell
- Install new concrete footings and slabs for extension of existing structure
- Provide new power, water and sewer feeds
- Install wall cladding and new roofing to the entirety of the building
- Run new underground sewer and stormwater services
- Install commercial elevator and two sets of compliant stairs
- Construct internal walls, ceilings and glazing as approved plans
- New mechanical, electrical and hydraulic services throughout
- Install all internal finishes as per FFE schedules
- Obtain occupancy permit and provide clearance letter from DAS
Asset Construction were engaged by RSL Queensland to construct a Veteran Wellness Centre to service Darwin and the greater NT region. The purpose of the centre is to provide a critical wellbeing service to all serving and retired Veterans and their families.
There are large open spaces giving a welcoming feel and private consult rooms for the required confidential support services being provided. The centre also provides a gym and medical clinic for rehabilitation.
